In preparation for the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Second Vatican Council, the University of Saint Mary of the Lake begins a multi-year study of the major council documents. Cardinal Meyer, after whom the lecture series is named, was the most important American council father. This issue examines the effect of the council on Cardinal Meyer and his role in the Church in America.
